Description of scenario: Type of vessel: Vessel not under command
Visibility: In or near an area of restricted visibility , weather by day or night
Rule(s) to be applied: Rule 35 (Sound signals in restricted visibility )
Applying the Rule(s) and comments: In accordance with Rule 35 (c) (Sound signals in restricted visibility ), a vessel not under command shall, instead of the signals prescribed in Rule 35 (a) or (b) (Sound signals in restricted visibility ), sound at intervals of not more that 2 minutes three blasts in succession, namely one prolonged followed by two short blasts.
