    Visibility: In or near an area of restricted visibility , weather by day or night
  • Rule(s) to be applied: Rule 35 (Sound signals in restricted visibility )
  • Applying the Rule(s) and comments: In accordance with Rule 35 (k) (Sound signals in restricted visibility ), a pilot vessel when engaged on pilotage duty may in addition to the signals prescribed in Rule 35 (b) (Sound signals in restricted visibility ) sound an identity signal consisting of four short blasts.
  • Signals: as prescribed in Rule 35 (b)
  • Signals: or with an additional identity signal as prescribed in Rule 35 (k)
